Sea Harbor Hotel

A Hotel that tries/ Even when they don't have to. Located next to a fisherman centric locale, this hotel can honestly just pack it in and still book every room each day of the year. Yet they strive to be better Here is what I found: Great customer service The most comfortable beds ever...Im a former Travel Agent and I'm used to Four Seasons, JW Marriotts, Ritz Carltons, insert others here. Great TV selection Amazing locale. So if you need a hidden gem of a motel with 5 star aspirations.....this is your place. I absolutely love it and will be back.

Great location plenty of local points of interest. Can't go wrong with Pont Loma Seafood next door. I am writing now because I just had a bad experience at another hotel that my wife booked for me because of its proximity to a concert venue. I have been coming to San Diego for mini vacations since the mid 80's. I have stayed at some horrid places. Every time I have stayed here under current name/ownership and when it was the Vagabond I was very happy.

The staff was very nice and helpful. I was so happy with this room which was renovated about 4 years ago. Very nice. And a very comfortable king bed. The walk to the harbor restaurants was scenic along the yacht harbor. Large flat screen TV, too!

I have used Sea Harbor hotel as a base for my long range fishing trips five times in past years. It is not a five star location but fills my need to be a short distance from the collection points for the fishing boats. The rooms are up to date but not luxurious. Adequate.

First time at this hotel and was blown away with how exceptional the property is. The lobby had a cute Christmas tree nice blue and white tones to mimic the Marina vibes which is only a few steps away. Plenty of parking which was great never full. I stayed from Thursday-Sunday. I got the twin bed room and upon walking in the room was extremely clean and presented well. Has a good size fridge plenty of towels and good lotion shampoo conditioner hand soap if you don’t have any. The bedding was excellent amd black out curtains and low level lighting to set the mood was a nice touch. Has a quiet heater for those cold nights. Easy access to all the A+ waterfront restaurants. If you’re active there’s a walking path along the way which was great. Very nice location away feom the city is you’re looking for a rejuvenating peaceful stay. Would extremely recommend. Also literally about 10min away from airport. No traffic smooth no rush easy in and easy out. Grateful to find sea harbor hotel! Will definitely be back when I’m in town! Cheers! Great location within 1/2 block of the harbor with numerous restaurants within walking distance. It is an older hotel but the price and location make it an incredible find. We never felt unsafe. And, as a tourist, how much time does one spend in the room anyway? There is a small pool, free parking, free wifi and a refrigerator in the hotel room. What more could I ask for? On my next visit to San Diego, I will not hesitate to book another stay here.

It's basically a spot to stay for a night. The harbour is just beside it, making a walk possible anytime of the day or night. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but at this price range could have done better adding breakfast at least. But the staff is exceptional and warm and welcoming.
